SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
UGSS automatically detects and classifies objects intruding into the monitored area. The system utilizes a combination of different types of sensors arranged in a network. Input from the sensors is collected by a sensor node and processed by its on-board signal processors. When signatures are correlated into verified target detection, an alarm is triggered and transmitted by radio to a central monitoring station. The VHF radio transmission of control commands and alarm data is compressed and encrypted
